Something old, something new.
I am officially leaving BlogSpot
& starting anew.
Like an already-legal kid who wants to break free from childhood.

Tale as old as time...
I have been with Blogger for more than three years. Since I started in 2004, blogging became an integral part of my life. I suddenly feel this instinctive need to document everything that is happening to me with the thought, "I have to blog this." I must say that those times has taught me a lot of things (aside from HTML, PHP, CSS, Java, and Photoshop, that is).
For over three years, I have written about my awkward freshman days, insecurities, writing (in general), cell phone messages, movies, theories about Iraq and the US, tv shows I've been obsessed to (The OC, Laguna Beach, Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, The Simpsons, Desperate Housewives, Saturday Night Live, Princess Hours), monotonous things people write on yearbooks, birthdays, boycotting Math, copycats, UrbanDictionary, my academics and extra curricular activities, memes, hot guys (Chris Tiu, Prince William, Cedric Diggory), freedom boards, my half-brother, parties & lakwatsa with friends, unified theories of everything, books, Jessica Zafra, my pet pig of a brother, tweetums and superficial stuff like make-up and clothes, Mommy, about this blog, 100 stuff about me, hatred over everything, "flings," Havaianas, my 4th year life...
The things I learned in blogging are not limited to HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, and Photoshop. I also learned how to deal with nasty flamers, shallowness, and finding friendship in the people on the other side of the computer screen (errr?).
Now, I am sincerely grateful that I've established this kind of pastime. It's nice to read back the things I wrote years or months ago (even if you cringe sometimes). It just goes to show how I've changed and grew over time. It gives me a suggestion that I have become better, wiser, funnier...
In the first two years of my blogging (2004-2005), I have created and nourished strong relationships with my blog readers (Blogger). The wonderful people who read my blog--the people who actually find my writings interesting and fun to read, the people who didn't care if they were reading about a total stranger but are glad to befriend such stranger anyway. It reminds me of the amazing way humans connect with each other--against all odds and awkwardness, two strangers talk and listen to each other about their respective lives and thoughts and conquests.
Bloggers are nice people. Bloggers can be friends. Some I even met personally and hung out with (Ate Raya?). Some I share problems, thoughts, notions, and practically personal stuff with (Ate Vayie? Ate Russ? Ate Vea? Ate Cali? Ate TP? Ate Maine? Ate Joei? Ate Claire? Kuya Ccigaux? Ate Kessa? Ate Tins?). Some who I met through Blogging I'm really and personally close to now [and we see each other on a daily basis] (Miko?). Some I talk "teen stuff" with (Romina, Carl). Some I just know I have a connection with (Ate Julie, Claire, Ginee).
I have to admit that high school will never be the same without blogging and the wonderful people I've met through it.
I DID NOT ERASE MY BLOGS.
Anyone interested in having access to it, email me. :)
I will NEVER erase my blogs.
I have only changed the URL of my old blog & had set it to private.
I`d like to look back and reminisce, like going to the attic and rummaging through dusty old journals and toy chests.Anyone interested in having access to it, email me. :)

Somehow, I think that my BlogSpots are a reminder of how I met these total strangers who turned out to be such wonderful parts of my life... who turned out to be my friends. :)
Friends, let us keep in touch.
